Dave Roehr founded Proceed Finance with over three decades of excellence and innovation in banking and finance. Under his leadership, Proceed Finance has positioned thousands of partner providers for extraordinary growth and delivered countless patients financial access to life-changing treatments.
Prior to leading Proceed Finance, Mr. Roehr served as President and Chief Financial Officer of Cabela's. His expertise in strategic growth helped transform the company from their direct-by-mail roots into a multibillion-dollar North American retail giant. During his tenure at Cabela's, Mr. Roehr also built a $6 billion asset portfolio from scratch with the inception of Cabela's co-branded VISA credit card and related rewards program under the banner of Cabela's World's Foremost Bank.
Mr. Roehr began his career with the prestigious tax consultancy Grant Thornton LLP, where he quickly attained partnership. At Grant Thornton, Mr. Roehr contributed to $150M revenue growth and watched the firm extend its global reach to nearly 70 countries.
Mr. Roehr also contributes his insights and experience on several boards of directors for companies pursuing aggressive growth. He is a licensed CPA and holds a Master's of Taxation. Dave still maintains the same passion for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors that originally brought him to Cabela's.
Brad Bentjen joined Proceed Finance in 2020 as Senior Vice President of Risk Management & Operations, contributing 20 years of expertise in high-level risk management, operations, and analytics. Mr. Bentjen leads Proceed Finance's Risk Management and Provider Relations divisions; his efforts have distinguished Proceed Finance among other fintechs by combining highly competitive fees with white glove customer service.
Before Proceed Finance, Mr. Bentjen was Director of Program Management for Bass Pro Shops/Cabela's, where he maintained their banking partnership with Capital One and was responsible for credit risk management. Mr. Bentjen came to Bass Pro Shops from Cabela's World's Foremost Bank in 2017 after successfully navigating the integration of the latter's co-branded credit card program, a $6 billion asset—one of the largest of its kind, into Capital One's systems. Before the merger, Mr. Bentjen was Cabela's WFB's Senior Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management, managing multiple operational facets, including underwriting, risk management, and portfolio management.
In his free time, Brad is an avid golfer and chauffer to his family.
As Senior Vice President of Engineering, Erik Wrenholt leads Proceed Finance's team of software engineers. Mr. Wrenholt has been instrumental in building Proceed Finance's groundbreaking instant credit decisioning technology and user-friendly platform, which dramatically simplify patient financing and extend treatment affordability to borrowers. His essential knowledge has laid the software foundation that makes Proceed Finance the most exciting fintech in large-case healthcare financing.
Mr. Wrenholt brings two decades of software development expertise specifically focused on healthcare. Before Proceed Finance, Mr. Wrenholt served as Vice President of Product Development for MacPractice, which specializes in delivering best-in-class practice management and certified EHR software for medical, dental, eye care, and chiropractic offices using Apple computers. At MacPractice, Mr. Wrenholt led all software design and development teams in creating innovative tools for over 30,000 users in 3,000 offices worldwide.

Angel Amaya joined Proceed Finance in 2022 as VP of National Accounts/Dental Service Organizations. Ms. Amaya coordinates Proceed Finance's partnerships with the country's leading enterprise partners and several of the largest DSOs. Due to her efforts, patients have access to Proceed Finance's innovative financing options at the most well-known and trusted clinics operating at the national level.
Ms. Amaya's experience in the healthcare industry spans over 15 years and touches both provider and financial services. Previously, she was Vice President, National & Strategic Accounts for another major patient financing provider and worked closely with numerous national and enterprise accounts to develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies centered on patient financing. Ms. Amaya has also held leadership positions in marketing and management for several large healthcare providers.
Angel is passionate about dental care. She once took a taxi to avoid missing her appointment.
Becky Kopecky came to Proceed Finance in 2020 with over 15 years of experience in the medical services industry. As Vice President of Integrated Partnerships, Mrs. Kopecky is the architect of relationships with other industry leaders who share Proceed Finance's vision of improving patients' lives through seamless provider experiences.
Before she came to Proceed Finance, Mrs. Kopecky was Vice President of Client Engagement at ALN Medical Management, a revenue cycle management and physician billing provider. Mrs. Kopecky worked closely with specialty medical offices across the United States to improve operational efficiency via training and strategic planning. Mrs. Kopecky also coordinated ALN's partnership with a major, 150-doctor pediatric practice, as well as led key revenue generation for the world's largest spine and pain practice. While at ALN, Mrs. Kopecky guided leadership and developed growth initiatives at organizations' monthly executive meetings and quarterly board meetings.
Becky is a season ticket holder for her two children's many sporting events and enjoys every minute of every game (if they are winning).
Scott Wanetka brings a wealth of knowledge about consumer loan programs, including Proceed Finance's industry focus—patient financing, to his position as Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Wanetka leads a team whose goal is extending Proceed Finance's offerings to new patients by developing long-lasting relationships with provider offices.
Mr. Wanetka's career before Proceed Finance is a consistent history of directing successful consumer-facing programs. He previously worked for a community bank in Nebraska, where he managed their credit card and medical loan divisions and gained critical insights about the unique aspects of patient financing. Prior to this, Mr. Wanetka held a variety of positions at Cabela's, including their credit card and loyalty programs; he was instrumental in establishing a nationwide marketing program from the ground up.
Scott is an enthusiastic outdoorsman, spending his free time camping, hunting, and fishing with his family.
As Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration, Amy Lockman has built a robust liquidity, compliance, and financial reporting foundation for Proceed Finance, establishing it among the leaders in large-case lending solutions. With 20 years of experience in accounting and finance across the banking and retail sectors, Mrs. Lockman identifies and arranges key relationships with banks and other capital sources that power Proceed Finance's products.
Before coming to Proceed Finance, Mrs. Lockman was the Director of Financial Management for Capital One. After she managed the sale and conversion of Cabela's World's Foremost Bank $6 billion credit card program to Capital One's system, Mrs. Lockman had oversight of financial and treasury reporting. Prior to the Bass Pro Shops-Cabela's merger, Mrs. Lockman executed a strategic financial vision and led forward-thinking initiatives, such as asset securitization, for 14 years as Senior Vice President of Accounting and Finance for Cabela's WFB.
Amy enjoys everything volleyball—watching and playing—and recently has been sharpening her golf game.
